Door panel trim

Just wondering if anyone could share some tips on how to remove the trim from the doors on 09 sierra. Had my driver side peel off about 18 months ago and replaced under warranty. This same trim piece is now bubbling and flaking paint, rather than go through it again I was thinking of removing them. Thanks to anyone who can provide a little guidance.

Exterior moldings?

 

Heat gun or hair dryer & dental floss....

 

Personally, I thinl that trucks/SUV's (of this body style) look funny w/o exterior door moldings. Wy too much plain sheetmetal left open.

 

Try looking at adding at least the 1" chrome door molding off a 2010-2013 Caddy Escalade or EXT to your truck. At least these would never peel or fall off again...?
