Installed OEM skid plates today

Today I installed the OEM skid plates on my stripper 4x4. Got the 20944322 and 20922755 skid plates and the 11518341 bolts (x 8) to install them. I didn't think I needed the skid plates, but after grabbing so many big sticks driving through fields and forest I figured it was time. In some deep snow in WV I hooked up with a big stick in the road and it wedged itself perfectly into the transfer case area to disengage my 4wd (grabbed the lever linkage). So, I figured I would try to put the plates on. They were super easy to install, the bolts are self tapping. I'll say this, the transfer case plate doesn't inspire a lot of confidence does it?! I think it definitely has to be better than nothing though.

I installed them on my truck also. They dont inspire confindence but i feel better driving through deep snow with them on and they beat nothing which is what i had before.

I wish that transfer case plate was attached on both sides, not just the four bolts on the leading side.
