San Antonio drivers are the worst. That sucks.

Took a trip from Oregon to New Orleans a few months back. I didn't have any trouble with the San Antonio drivers ('course I took the 1604 loop around it), but once I hit the Houston area I couldn't believe the aggressive driving. I was trying to make it to my mother's house in Humble in one piece with a new truck and I didn't think I would! I told my nephew who is a Houston cop that I'm not a fan of legalized marijuana, but I think a bong hit could have possibly helped some of those crazy Houstonians!

I just dinged the bottom of my drivers door on a pointy concrete structure outline with metal (that's way too high IMO) at a gas station. Pissed me off grrrr

Mowed over a piece of a stick a week ago which of course went flying about 30 feet and hit right above the front passenger door handle. I didn't really pay much attention to it until I noticed two dings there the next day.

 

I took it by a paintless dent repair place to get his opinion of it and also set up an appointment.

 

The pdr guy wasn't sure he could get them out without drilling into the end of the door, so I thought I'd take the door panel off to see if he could get better access there. I got the door panel off, but it wasn't necessary as the pdr guy was able to go through the door handle hole in the end of the door. He got both dents out and I can only barely see where one of the dents was at when the truck is clean.

 

edit: I've caused a couple of other blemishes too. I left a little gouge in plastic on the back of the front passenger seat with something, and I closed the door on the "up/down" door lock rod too which chipped the paint.

 

I once thought that the gouge in the plastic was caused by the sharp retaining clips of the front passenger door panel when I had that removed, but after more thought, I may have caused that with a piece of luggage I had back there.

 

The "up/down" door lock rod is also held in place by a slotted rubber retainer, not a felt retainer like it kinda seemed to me like. It probably helps for a quick assembly on the assembly line, but it can be dislodged easy and the door closed on it if you aren't paying attention to it like I did.
