Same happened to me after 3 weeks. I went to a big name mall here in Texas, and I guess some idiot backed up into my front passenger side door with a trailer ball :(

I'd be pissed if that happened to me

You should be anal. These trucks arent cheap and if your like me you bust your back to afford one. So when some ignorant D/B comes along and dents it and then is rotten enough to not say shit.... I would be pissed off beyond words. I feel bad for you homeboy. It seems no matter how far away you park, some jackass will park his POS right next to your new ride. I agree with the other folks, PDR is the way to go first. I hope it all works out for you.

There are some really good dent guys out there... My wife backed into the rear door on my old truck on accident and it was terrible! I for sure thought I needed a door... I called the guy who my dealer uses and I couldnt even tell that the door was completely smashed in after... try a dent guy first, body work and painting is a LAST resort.

Truth. Last summer, I parked behind a restaurant where there weren't any cars around. After dinner, I came out and there still weren't any cars around, but there was a long, jagged scratch down my drivers door. Fortunately, it was easily buffed out.

Haters everywhere.

That sucks. I've already had a bad dream about this happening. I might kill someone if I see them do it.

San Antonio drivers are the worst. That sucks.

I guess you never drove in Jamaica or Puerto Rico then.

I find people who say "get over it" funny, those are the vehicles I don't want to buy as they don't care for them. I keep my cars in pristine condition and when it does come time to re-sell them I get top dollar for them.

People who are overly anal about a pick up truck I find funny. Garaged sports car = yes, daily driven pick up truck=no. I have sold both types of vehicles multiple times, people don't look at each the same way. My GTO everyone that looked at it were meticulous with any damage, ditto with my Javelin; our last few trucks and SUV's all they every checked was how it ran and that it looked ok. You won't get any more money out of a ten year old truck with a few door dings, they just don't look that closely. As long as it is maintained, no huge dents or damage and (this is a biggie) clear coat isn't coming off it will be a wash, except my vehicle wouldn't have spent hundreds of dollars at the PDR shop fixing every small little ding (which off sets any slight increase you may get).

Hail I get fixed if it dented it enough, wrecked damage I get fixed (if it is damaged enough that I can't repair it), I regularly wax them, park in garages at home and work, changed all fluids and don't beat on them but on a rare occasion. I promise I would get what you would in trade, I am a car guy and take care of my rides/toys...
