Has anyone here ever attempted this?

Has anyone here ever attempted to install Chevy/GMC factory power windows, locks, and mirrors on a 2003-2007 GMT800 pickup truck?

I don't have any personal ideas on how you would go about doing this. However, wasn't there a thread awhile back that was asking the same type question? I'm not sure what the answer was, serious answers anyway. It would seem it would be quite a bit of work with the wiring and all. I guess with enough patience and $$ you probably could make it happen.

Anything is possible. But you'd have to get a full wiring harness and BCM I think. Basically enough stuff to buy 2 trucks lol

Ita been done but it is way more work than it is worth

done many aftermarket installs on those trucks.... not the mirrors but power locks and windows.... trust me a good aftermarket kit will work just fine.... too many guys get caught up in the "have to have factory look" mindset.... as stated before you're looking at wiring, bcm, reprogramming, etc.... an aftermarket kit will do the job nicely at a fraction of the cost and work.

but if it really was that complicated where I need a BCM wiring, etc..Where is the proof? Send me pictures of an ACTUAL factory power windows locks and mirror retrofit in progress..

Hello Tony,

I know that this is way after anyone has played around with this. I just bought a 99 Silverado, and I'm Looking to convert the manual locks, and windows to power. after scouring the web, I did find this. Which is what lead me to become a member here. I'm the member of a lot of different forum sites, and just started with this one. The page that I found listed below is what I found although it has been archived and will not let you post. I may have to re-post this again.
