Steering Box Input Shaft Seal Leak

I got under my wife's 2004 Yukon and found a leak on the Steering Box. Looks like its the Input Shaft Seal. How difficult is it to replace the seal? Do I need to remove the steering box?

I know this sounds like a dumb idea, but change the PS fluid and when you fill it, fill it with PS fluid with leak seal additive. I did that 100,000 miles ago to mine and that seal's dry to this day. That's a small leak and may be due to a shrunken up seal and new fluid will likely correct it.
