Aftermarket radio and DIC

If I installed an aftermarket radio like the pioneer nex line would if still be able to control it from the DIC like see songs, phone etc?

I'm pretty happy with my DIC the way it is.

 

To answer your question, call Crutchfield and ask them. If there's a solution, they'll have it.

That capability would be in your harness module and I'm unaware of one that integrates with DIC as of yet....
