Bumper brackets

So I'm already thinking of taking my body lift off when I go to replace my tires. Problem is, I can't seem to find the old front and back bumper brackets. Does anyone know where I could find the original brackets for a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500?

You'd probably have to get the part numbers from the dealer. Or find someone that wants a body lift and swap it

Why are you taking it off?

I was thinking of just taking it off later down the road and put a straight suspension lift on. I'm not a big fan of the gaps under the motor and bed.

Dang it, I knew I should have kept them... I just hauled a load of scrapped off last weekend and talked myself into scrapping them too. If I get another customer that wants one installed I'll save them and see if you still need them? Could be a awhile though.

So I took a look at the instructions again for my body lift and I don't think I would be able to go back to stock since I have cut some of the front end to make the new brackets work and the tow hooks. I think I will b stuck with the body lift.

That's one of the biggest advantages to a body lift as opposed to the suspension lifts. Even though you had to cut some stuff, you should still be able to go back to stock. But, to be sure, what brand of lift do you have?

You must have the Zone lift. I was looking at the instructions and I think I see what cuts you are talking about. IF it were me, Ide just drill new holes in the bumper mounts and install some new bolts and nuts. IF you dont want to do that, you could always sell your lift to someone and help them install it. Then you could keep all those parts they don't need, like bumper brackets, and those pieces that get cut off. Then you could have someone re-weld those tabs back on.

Are you interested in a 1.5 inch zone body lift?

Me? No. Im still runnin' the 07, and it currently has a 3" body lift on it. I was just suggesting because on my 05, I had a body lift, custom bumpers, and had ditched the factory spare tire winch (exactly what I have now, now that I think about it) and before I sold it I was able to sell the lift and bumpers to a guy, and as part of the deal, I got all the stock parts I was missing off of his truck in exchange for helping him install everything.

I have my old back bumper that was on the truck when I was rear ended. I'll look to see if the brackets are still good. If so you can have them if you'd like. Just cover the shipping. I'll look tomorrow and check to see if they are ok. If you'd like, pm me your phone number and I'll shoot you some pictures tomorrow.

op PLEASE post pictures of these gaps. I'm about to buy a 3" body lift but haven't been able to find gap pictures yet. Your 1.5 will give me an idea
