Swap Disc Drive for DVD Drive

Has anyone looked into swapping out the in dash disc player for a DVD /Blu Ray player? Or does anyone have the part number for the oem in dash player? Or can you purchase the rear seat entertainment kit?

 

The goal being to unlock in motion features and be able to play DVDs for kids.

We would have to do the programming regardless to unlock the in motion portion however its not quite as simple as swapping the drives out. The wiring is completely different (its added to the MOST ring) and also requires custom HMI programming to set it up.

If you want to rip DVD's to USB/SD our programming alone will get you where you want to go and be able to do anything you want in motion.
