Have questions about a bed liner

I just bought a new truck and need some advise.  I am not sure if I should go with a plastic or spray in bed liner.  I have seen the pro’s and con’s to both.  I like the looks of the spay in, but I am not sure how easily it dents the bed and I am not sure how much, if any, it fads.  I am looking to own this truck for as long as it runs, hopefully at least 12 years.  I am not in constructions, but occasionally I will be throwing heavy stuff in the back such as wood and concrete.  Should I go with a plastic or spray in?  What are you thoughts and experiences?  Thanks in advance.

IMO the spray in is the best way to go.  When I bought my truck, it had a plastic liner in it.  I took it out right away and you wouldn't believe the dirt and stuff underneath it! And the truck was only 2 years old!  For now, I just have a rubber bed mat in it.  I may eventually get a spray in liner, then put the rubber mat on top of that.  (Makes it easier for doggy to get traction while riding back there.)  I don't generally get too concerned with dents in my bed (hey, it's a truck!), but that's just me.  You could always go with the spray in liner, then a plastic one on top of that, or the rubber mat like I did.  I don't like the plastic also because it is so slippery and anything you put back there slides all over the place!  Especially sooper pooper!
