This is a fantastic car its pearl white and fully loaded. I will get some pics up. It is so luxurious and has tons of options. The steering is awesome the handling is razor sharp with no body lean what so ever and the brakes are awesome. Its really a performer the best car ive ever driven for all around performance. Its so quiet we took a trip the other day and it was storming like crazy on the highway and you couldnt even really tell in the caddy. It has so much sound deadning material. The engine and transmission is a complete gem. 4.6 northstar v8 320hp and a 5 speed automatic. The transmission shifts so good and smooth and the engine is great it will start pulling you into the seat like a freight train without even flooring it. If i take traction control off and floor it it will get sideways and spin up to 45mph but it feels smooth. Even though its spinning it feels relaxed. It will accelerate over 100mph like its nothing. Overall im really proud of this car and never dreamed i would like a car like this.

Yes they were great cars!, has a couple of them. Check your door jamb for the tire rating, probably had H rate (130 mph) from the factory, yes they will do that!!

Currently have a newer model with the 3.6 V6 DI, which is a real let down after owning the V8's.

My gpa loves his. One thing to watch for is the 4.6 Northstars like to leak oil when they get more miles. His mechanic said he's seen it before on the 4.6. But he really likes the handling and power.

I like the new cts v sport with the 420hp v6. My choice would be a cts v. lol

Glad you have a car you like. The late STSs are one of the best looking caddy's ever IMO, they will age better than when they went with the comtempary current designs that I don't think will age well.

Yes, watch for the leak, its a shame caddy never solved the problem. Also, watch for oil consumption. I had a short star(slang for the V6 version they made for olds, and it SUDDENLY started drinking oil, 1 qt per 1000, with NO smoke and no oil in the coolant.)

Otherwise, they were GMs high tech engine when they didn't make high tech engines.
