Upgrading To Keyless entry and alarm system

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 that I want to put in an alarm system and keyless entry in. Should I go with the GM system or should I go and get an aftermarket one?

Your going to have to go aftermarket,GM doesn't have accessory kits out for those trucks.

Even if they did have a GM kit, I would say aftermarket anyway. Pending on how much money you have into the truck, ie, if you have abunch if expensive aftermarket equipment, I would say get a nicer alarm. I like viper alarm myself

I actually haven't put anything into it yet besides getting a better brakes and rotors. But thanks for the info I will check out the viper system
