elboberino Posted February 28, 2003 Posted February 28, 2003 So I finally found my ruler and since we got nailed with snow today, figured I would measure the snow on the rail of my balcony. There wasn't any snow on it yesterday, it all came today and is lightly coming down still. Currently, without calculating the slight loss of snow, there is appx 3 1/4 inches on snow on the balcony rail. Not bad for a few hours of snow. Too bad they won't close down the college....that would be bliss!
HillHound Posted February 28, 2003 Posted February 28, 2003 Hope you keep it where you're at. Monday of last week I had 25" on my deck with drifts up to about 4 feet. When I left for work early that morning I drove through a couple of snowdrifts on the road down off the hill where I live that pushed snow up over the hood of my truck! Had it packed into the grill and engine area. I'm sick of it for this year. Worst winter I've seen in my lifetime although some of the old timers tell me they've seen worse ones years ago.
