LED turn signals with BUILT IN load resistors.

Rather than putting a topic in every model forum, and the fact this applies to pretty much every vehicle made now:

The days of rapid flashing LED turn signals, or having the wire in load resistors at every corner is OVER. Now, they are built in to some lights. Some stores are selling them, but they are all over eBay right now.

First find your bulb number. For instance, the front bulbs on my car are 7443NA.

Now, you just search for them. It seems the best results are when you word them like this:

led 7443 can bus

Replace the number with what you need, of course.

What does the CAN BUS mean? Well, on most newer cars made after 2002 cars have a central body control module that reads the electrical loads on the lights. That's why your truck knows when a bulb is burned oou, by the change in load. LEDs use barely any power, and the Body Control Module senses this, thinks the bulbs is out, and causes hyoerflash to warn you. These new bulbs have the resistors built in to cause the standard load to still be met, so you don't have to wire resistors in line to beach bulb like you used to need to!

I have read reviews on a few typess of cars(newer dodges and fords) that don't use the CAN BUS system like the European cars these bulbs am were specifically built for, but have caused no issues, and the nonlosd resistors have worked perfectly.

Now, if you buy a style or from a seller that is lying or simply don't work correctly, let the rest of us and any future buyers know.
