93 gmc steering

When im going down the road the steering on my truck feels so loose. Could it be the sway bar not tightened down all the way?

Yes, but i found a good deal to replace all steering front end parts for cheap so im gonna do that

There is an adapter/extension added to the end of the steering shaft to compensate the body lift. I found that to be the reason for my sloppy steering. Just a little movement equals a lot is slack at the steering wheel! It's about $80 part! Weld ya a pipe around that extension, best cheapest fix if you find that being the cause. Nothing wrong with new parts if old ones are worn out or broke. Hope this diagnose your problem..
