15 inch wheels on 1999 Tahoe Z71

Will 15 Inch Rims fit on my Tahoe? It's a 1999 Model with the 5.7L Engine. I'm planning on taking my 33" BFG Mud Terrains off of my old Jeep and putting them on this, but first I have to know if the wheels will fit around the brakes. Thanks.

Don't know about clearing the brakes, but aren't you going to have a problem with 6 lug vs 5 lug?

I just put 15x10 rims on my 97 Chevy with 33's. Mine fit fine, but are these rims from your Jeep as well? If so, Jeeps are usually 5 lug? Ours are 6. Chris

i know i am going to have to get new rims, i was just questioning the size.

Instead of spending the money to buy 15 inch rims, just buy new 16 inch tires that are about the same size as what you have on the jeep. Then sell those to help offset the cost.

They wont fit. The brake calipers wont clear.

Is there a difference with the brakes between a 97 K1500 and a 99 (Pre new body style) Tahoe? I didn't think there was? My 15" rims fit fine. I really don't think there is a difference, but I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. But if they are the same, 15" rims fit fine. Chris
