2015 2500 HD Sierra Diesel - My Issues

Problems I have encountered to date include:

 

1. Radio volume does not go very high. Dealer says no fix.

2. Cruise control won't hold on a grade. I get a flucuation of 10-15 km Dealer can't find a problem

3. 4 wheel drive short radius turns are almost impossible. Dealer says that's normal

4. Factory undercoating remains soft and sticky. 3rd party undercoater says its crap and sprayed a firmer solution over it.

5. No air from the inside passenger vent. Dealer fixed it.

6. Can't get 2015 full length running boards because of DEF tank.

1 - Not to be rude but do you have a hearing issue or are you an older gentleman? These radios make me deaf.

 

2 - Cruise control should downshift on a grade and help hold speed down grades, via the cruise control grade braking. My 2012 does it no problem. If you are worried, try tow/haul mode down a hill and see what that does.

 

3 - Are you using 4x4 on dry pavement? Or is it off-road you are experiencing this issue?

 

4 - Normal. The wax they use now is currently being phased out.

 

6 - GM offers cab length running boards for Duramax equipped trucks. Are you seeking a full wheel to wheel board aftermarket?

I just got my 2015 and have no issues with radio, it blasts. You think this thing got a short turn radius you should have tried my Dodge 4x4.

It took a block to get it turned around. Sorry but mine also has a full length running board also! Can't comment on CC haven't used it much.
