Does anyone have any information about this? I heard this on MW on speed channel and if it came from $4000 down to $2000 is a must have option on my 4x4 IMO...

Thanks/

When I ordered mine, there was a rebate for $2,000.00.  It may be related to that.  www.Edmunds.com lists rebates.

Same here. I got an extra $2K Quadrasteer rebate on mine as well. It's actually listed on the Delphi website as well. The extra discount is what sold me on this feature.

Wow, wish I had know that. I may have bought one. I drove a Serria denalli once and really liked it alot. Nothing like the Q-steer and 6.0 combo. Drove like a sports car.

I'm mixed.  Loved the week long test drive a Quadrasteer last year and the power of the 6.0.  But the mixed part is after hearing everyones dismal MPG even unloaded with the 6.0.

Currently parking in the mall is a chore, but the 5.3 giving me 17-18 in the city

Now if the QS was available with the "5.3 version 2" or a lot less thirsty 6.0, I'd be all over on a trade.

Quadrasteer IS availble with the 5.3L, that is what I bought and love it.

is the quadrasteer selling as gm expected?

No, hence the $2K rebate. I love the feature. It "makes" the truck for me, but I would not have considered buying my truck if the option was still $5K. I think a lot of people were in the same boat.

I'm new here so please be gentle...  :D

I've just picked up a '02 Sierra Denali (as in the forum name) to replace my '99 Z71 Sierra that some scumbag loser pos decided to steal. I have to agree with StepsideZ in the fact that the feature is incredible. If it wasn't for the dealer taking over (ahem +$8k) off list I could never have afforded it.

This thing flies and handles like no truck I've ever driven.

Fuel Milage 14.5 with some spirited romps in mix city/hwy.

My old truck was real nice (SLT) but this one is no compromise.

If somebody is looking for a black one '02 Sierra Denali, they have one left. (oil service for lifetime included as well...)

Thought I'd pass it along.

:D Just got my '03 Suburban Quadrasteer last week.  Also got the 4.1 rear end which makes it a brute, but gas mileage is horrible.  Right now about 9 mpg.  Hopefully after break-in that will improve.  The handling is awesome, better than a small car.  I got a $2k quadrasteer rebate plus the $2K rebate and a $1K loyalty rebate.  They priced the car at invoice, so I cleaned up.  Without the rebate, I never would have gone $4,500 for the quadrasteer.  I can't wait to tow my horsetrailer to see how the 4WS handles.

I have a quadrasteer question. Are you stuck with the factory size tires  and rims forever? I have heard you cant up size he tires with quadrasteer. Is that right. What size tire and wheel is a quad truck equipped with?

I can take/send pics of the rears lock to lock if you like. I don't know about the relationship of the different tires/wheel combo's available but, it may give you a good idea of how much clearance you would have. Just a thought, let me know.
