Please confirm... Toyo ATII 285/65R18 will fit with 2.25" Pro Comp

Sorry guys didn't see this combo in the wheels or leveling topics, unless I missed it! Just want to make sure that theMethod Standard 18x9 running 285/65R18 Toyo ATII's will fit with no rubbing (or at least should not rub) on a 14 Sierra w/ 2.25" Pro Comp leveling kit?

also, whiat offset should I be going with? I dont want wheels to stick out... if it sticks out an inch or less i'll be ok but would prefer not.

That's only one size bigger do you shouldn't have a problem

No sweat for that size. I have 12.50 x 33 x 18 (305/60-18) on my stock rims and they didn't rub without a lift. Damn close though.

The offset is the key. There are so many wildly different offsets that you have to learn what will work and not buy a wheel just based on looks. It actually should fit correctly.

It's simple enough to figure out what will work.

turn your wheels all the way to the stops and measure all the clearances to the wheel wells and suspension components that are closest (sway bar on the inside).
Go to the tire mfr website and get the tire specs for your selected upgrade and calculate the difference in clearance base on your current tire.
The above resultant clearances will be based on the current wheel offset. If you buy a different offset, you need to calculate how that affects your clearance. It's all simple addition and subtraction.

Now i'm debating if I should go bigger, decisions. decisions.

I've got a quote from a local America's Tire (tires.com) but it seems like I'd save almost $500-700 depending on the setup if I were to buy online. In all fairness the quote does include their road hazard warranty - which I have used in the past on my previous sets of tires - and new TPMS'...

Yesterday I was told $2550 for Fuel Boost + Nitto Terra Grappler in 285/65R18 OTD

Online, I found a set of Fuel Boost w/ Toyo Open Country ATII's (i've read a better tire) for $1997 shipped. I would still need to buy TPMS for those but I can't imagine it being more than $60 for all four.

what to do, what to do.

I have 305/55R20 on my truck with a 2" level and it doesnt rub. I do heavy off roading on trails and sand dunes with no problems. FYI

Tpms can be pricey depending on where you buy. Check online for them. I'd definitely go with the toyo over the Nitto. Look at the tread wear ratings and warranties. They are both the same parent company.

Just found some on ebay - 4 OEM GM sensors for $59 shipped. cheapest I could find.

Ok, so im still confused...

If I were to go with 18x9 Method Double Standard w/ +18 offset will these sit flush? or at least close to? What I definitely do not want is tires sticking out too much.

Just found some on ebay - 4 OEM GM sensors for $59 shipped. cheapest I could find.

make sure they are for the 2014, i think i read somewhere that 2013 and previous are different sensors and not able to program to our newer system.

thats a killer price for 4 sensors, if they have more than the 1 set you are buying please send me a link.

the tire sizes that came factory on the 2014's range..

the 17s that came on mine are 255/70/17 which is 31.1" tall and 10.04 wide

the 20s that come on some stock i believe are 275/55/20 which is 31.9" tall and 10.83 wide

you are looking at almost a inch taller and wider, then there is the stock 22" upgrade, 285/45/22 which is 32.1 tall and 11.22 wide

in theroy, these should NOT rub otherwise GM wouldnt (technically) have them as a option.

your 285/65/18s are 32.6 tall and 11.22 wide, you are only .4 taller than the biggest factory wheel and tire combo, ide be interested to know if they rub without the level lift and what the biggest tire you can put on without a lift is.
