Bad Cluster? Bad Relay? or Bad Ground

I often pull my Fuel Pump Relay at night, this morning I put it back in... and all the lights on the dash were flashing, I turned it off, truck had trouble starting, so I pulled back out and put it back in Truck started up normal ... 1 hour later after I did some thing... started it back up... Then Lights, ABS, Brake, Battery light all came on.... Went to autozone replaced the fuel pump relay... then it all seemed normal... tested battery 100% except bad core which I've known about for months, good alternator....

I do notice on the cluster the oil pressure guage doesn't work, and some times when I get in the truck with everything off... or put the key in but don't start the oil / gas guages kinda shake...

I have a 2002 SILVERADO EXT CAB 4.3 V6

Speedometer quit on my 2004. Stopped by a local dealership. Think the whole gauge cluster was $250 installed. Truck was out of warranty at the time as it had 75 or 80 thousand miles.

Pardon my ignorance, but why do you pull the fuel pump relay at night?

Take the fuel pump relay to prevent theft...... Ugh, I get home and it had trouble starting.. almost as if you think it was a ALTERNATOR issue, but it's not.. it's been tested.. batteries good, just have bad cell...

I do suspect a ground wire, I mean some times I'll sit in the truck off and see the guages act funny, every now and then the speedometer etc will be a bitch, etc.... Are ground wires easy to replace? I want to actually put a escalade cluster anyways.
