  1. There was an interview with GM ceo Mary Barra where she stated the technology was coming & changing fast. So vehicles would receive almost annual updates to keep pace with the competition. It has been a few years since that interview, so that is not the specific wording she used. With that, am so hoping they move all of the side mirrors on these trucks back up to the corner of the side glass instead of mounted on the door panels.
  2. I really thought the '19 Camaro hood would have lines based on the ZL1 & kind of like the 19 Silverado hood down the middle. Think they also could have changed the headlights to match the rectangular shape of the tail lights. Would have filled the corners better? There is really no explanation for that SS center front tho. Edit: adding photo. Someone at Camaro 6 forums this morning photo shopped the front to body color & moved the bow/flow tie above the center bar. It does help.
  3. Refreshed 2019 Camaro http://media.chevrolet.com/media/us/en/chevrolet/home.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2018/apr/0409-2019-camaro.html
  4. Wish they would have skipped the crazy upper fender & door body line on the Silverado & kept it similar to the Sierra. Understand they were attempting to differentiate the models/brands. But liking the more subtle Sierra upper body line. Anyway, found this a bit ago. The AT4 looks better, at least to me under full lights vs what I had seen at the reveal. It is around 4 min long.
  5. Because the '19 Ram will be at dealerships this month +/- while the GM twins will be a more traditional Fall model year release. Just guessing that GM was torn between making a big splash in Dec that led to the Detroit Auto Show vs having a completely separate event mid summer 90 days in advance of the trucks being delivered. The K2's were revealed in Dec '12 & at dealerships May '13. So that was a much shorter window than what they are doing this round. I'm sure pricing on all models is going to be similar to Ford/Ram. HP/mpg ratings always seem to be the last known bits of info.
  6. I think they look amazing, as someone else mentioned on cloudy dreary days. But am guessing GM is trying to get their roll over or roof strength crash test numbers a little higher. Also, if you look at the platform photos, it shows bracing across the roof that would be in the way for a panoramic roof. In contrast though, you can get it on the Equinox I think.
  7. So did you sleep last night at all? Or pace back & forth texting the transport truck? Looks like the weather should be good for the day vs how it has been. Good luck with the new car.
  8. I know 1LE's handle well, did not know they could hang on a wall at 90°. ;) Did you trade your convertible or keeping it?
  9. I read a couple threads about it & seemed each situation was unique. The thread was dated a few months back, but some were not having any issues with their Note 4 &/or 5 running AA. So would recommend going to either Android Central or XDA Developers forums & asking specifics. Make sure to note if you have loaded any custom roms or what version of Android you are currently running.
  10. Sorry for the off topic. Note 4 is still generally a good device. Last I knew, Pixel XL was still on back order. So to address any specific issues you may have, go check this site out. Plenty of tech tips to clean things up & have it running like new. http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-note-4/
  11. Have yet to see a mouse proof anything that has an open seam. If they want in it or think they can make a nest, it is theirs w/o deterrents in place. My house is old & sits on a shallow crawl space & have seen them move the steel wool out of things to get to where they want to go. Point is, if nothing is malfunctioning on your truck, would not have a tech tear apart a dash. Further, rodent issues are not the responsibility of any vehicle mfg.
  12. Would think at the minimum it would be pro rated or pending dealer, covered.
  13. Maybe like in post #3 you can unhook the battery for a few minutes & reconnect to see if that cures it? If it saves a trip to a dealership service dept, it may be worth the attempt.
  14. Really like the painted wheel well moldings. Just to clarify, did you purchase those from GMC or have the stock ones painted?
  15. A lot of 2016 crews(& a '15) shipping this week out of Wentzville, MO rail yard.
  16. How many miles were on it when you bought it? Were you able to obtain service records for it? Anything show up when running the VIN at a GM dealership?
  17. Yeah, saw a few the other day as well. Double checked the VIN beginning with 3.
  18. Cool, was wondering when the 2016's would start hitting this section.
  19. Had the original LTX's on a dually & an old co 2wd F150 years old. Never had an issue in winter with traction & they last forever. Not sure how much they changed to justify the LTX m/s2 logo. Tread pattern seems similar, maybe they changed the compound? Pretty sure it will be what I put on mine when the factory GY's are gone. Which won't be long I'm sure.
  20. 2016 Camaro initial reviews in print now online as of midnight last night. http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews/driven/1512-2016-chevrolet-camaro-review/ http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2016-chevrolet-camaro-ss-automatic-test-review http://beta.motortrend.com/car-reviews/first-tests/2016-chevrolet-camaro-ss-first-test-review/
  21. What did the Vet say? Hope everything is OK. Have one that is not feeling too well either. Not sure what is going on with her. On the truck side of things. Had to go to a Road Ranger yesterday & they were working on the pumps. For what ever reason they were only selling premium, but at the regular 87 octane price. Cannot beat that. Saved $7 as that particular locations premium fuel is priced accordingly.
  22. I agree for the most part, or at least in the traditional sense. But if they only offered the V8 it would be too expensive for the avg buyer. Personally think it is the right decision to offer three engines to start this generation. Video is a 2016 Camaro 2.0L turbo drifting.
  23. Maybe this is posted elsewhere on the forum already? Did not see it yet. 2016 Camaro performance data. Chevrolet testing shows the all-new, 455-hp (336 kW) Camaro SS coupe – the most powerful Camaro SS ever – sprints from 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds and covers the quarter-mile in 12.3 seconds, when equipped with the all-new eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. The other Gen Six Camaro coupe models are commensurately quick, with the 275-hp (205) 2.0L Turbo delivering 5.4-second 0-60 performance and a 14.0-second quarter-mile, with the six-speed manual. With the available, 335-hp (250 kW) 3.6L V-6 and eight-speed automatic, the Camaro zips to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and down the quarter-mile in only 13.5 seconds. “The performance of the Camaro 2.0L Turbo will challenge many of the iconic muscle cars from the 1960s, while the Camaro SS’s performance – including 0.97 g cornering – makes it one of the most capable 2+2 coupes on the market,” said Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer. “The performance numbers only tell half of the story, because the lighter curb weight also makes the new Camaro feel more responsive and agile behind the wheel. It brakes more powerfully, dives into corners quicker, accelerates faster and is more fun to drive than ever.” With standard 18-inch wheels and Goodyear Eagle Sport all-season tires, the 2.0L Turbo delivers 0.85 g in cornering grip and 60-0-mph braking in 129 feet. With the RS package, which includes 20-inch wheels and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric all-season run-flat tires, the 3.6L V-6 delivers 0.89 g in cornering and 60-0 mph braking in 124 feet. The Camaro SS features Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 run-flat summer-only tires, enabling 0.97 g in cornering and 60-0 braking in 117 feet. http://media.chevrolet.com/media/us/en/chevrolet/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2015/sep/0914-camaro.html
  24. Papa Johns Camaro stolen at Woodward Dream Cruise. The title says it was recovered on the west side of Detroit, but nothing more. Maybe they will update the link later today. http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/papa-johns-pizza-camaro-stolen-in-detroit/34749080
  25. Do you have to pay through IFTA? It always costs me more to buy fuel(for a semi) in Indiana or Kentucky due to the surcharge vs buying straight out in IL or OH. You probably have a lot of hills to compensate for in AZ? Filled mine up yesterday & the tank avg was 18.4 with a 2013 6.2L. Mixed driving, but flat prairies in IL. That 18 is one of the best tank avg the thing has ever got.
