Clicking sound while turning

My 2014 Sierra is 2WD, but there is a clicking sound while turning. Although it is soft and can only be heard with the windows down and in an area where the sound can echo around (e.g. parking garage) it sounds like a CV joint clicking. As the truck is 2WD, it certainly does not have CV joints. The dealer has looked at it on a lift (says the service writer) but they say all is normal and could not duplicate the problem. I hear it on tight, slow turns to the right and sounds like it is coming from the left front. It could be doing it on left turns as well, but I haven’t heard it. Anybody else experience this? Any ideas?
