2005 sierra 1500 tires

bought a sierra 1500 work truck 8 foot box, gmc tires size are 245 70r 17 but the truck has 245 75r 17 tires on it. is this okay?

Yeah thats fine. On 17 inch rims gm put 265,70's on so your all good, just a little small

Speedometer will read slow a little

2wd got the 245/70. 265/70 will rub with no level. So it is not fine

from what I can find online 245 r75r 17 instead of the 245 r70 17 noted on the door of the truck are larger tires (sidewall is bigger) and will make the speedo read a little slower, just wanted to be sure it would cause any damage.

That small of a change wont cause damage

It is only 5% taller than stock
