Hypertech speedometer calibrator

I've got a 2014 Silverado 1500 (5.3L) and I'm considering a Hypertech speedometer calibrator as my tires are larger than stock (35"). Not looking for a full tuner or custom tune yet as my truck is new and I want minimal risk on voiding my warranty. Anyone have experience with this speedo calibrator? Wondering if there are any other noticeable benefits besides an accurate speedo, such as throttle response, shifting etc. Thanks!

I have the Hypertech speedometer calibrator to calculate for my 35" tires. Keystone Styling in my area is doing all the conversions for the dealers across PA and this is what they utilize. Dealers are backing the warranty.

 

When getting recalls done I have had my program overwritten so I have had to drive home and recalibrate. It does not change anything other than adjust the speedometer, odometer, and read trouble codes. If you want to adjust anything else you will want to reach out to some of the experts in the forum for tuner advice.

I omitted one other detail it also will allow you to adjust for any gear ratio changes.
