Trailer lights and trailer brakes not working

What kind of breaking system do you have on your trailer? I had the same issue with a Break-RIte system on my boat and after weeks of going back and forth, the control module was bad.

My son brought an old camper a while back and we had to reverse the power and trailer brake wires. He has a 2013 chevy. Don't know what your situation is but they are not all wired the same. We were going from the small round on his camper to the larger truck one. I changed his in the adapter.
