Prodigy P2 Acting up

Hi all earlier this summer i installed a P2 in my truck and all was well. But in the last 2 weeks its been acting up. I was sitting in the parking lot last week with my truck idleing waiting for class to start and all of a sudden it started flashing NC NC NC like when you start the truck. Then last night while waiting again for class it shut it self off even though the truck was running. Then this morning a go to leave for work and it is acting like i have a trailer hooked up and is giving me a read out for braking power. Has anyone else had these issues? I am kinda lost as to why this is happening.

I don't really know much about that specific controller but it sounds like something is shorting. Maybe where the trailer plugs into the truck has gotten some corrosion in there from water or whatever?

Mine done this once cheek the plug to the controller I unpluged mine and pluged it back in and it took care of it if that dose not work cheek all power connection in the wiring, crimps, and where the wire is bolted to the stude under the fuse box
