Access thru Firewall

I know it has been asked many times, so I just wanted to share what I did. I didn't want to drill a hole in the firewall as right now I am leasing the truck.

 

I popped out the grommet holding the hood latch wire in the firewall and replaced it with a rubber grommet. The hood latch still works with nothing changing. Easy access for putting my fuse block in and room for more wires when I add other accessories.

The larger grommet that is to the left of the latch has a nipple on the upper part of it that can be sliced in a cross pattern and used to pass through the firewall.
