Roof Leaking

Recommended Posts

Posted

Driving home today from the office I noticed a drop of water fall from the roof where the sun visor arm extends from the headliner. Two more drops fell after than and the headliner material was wet about .5" around the plastic arm cover.

I'm guessing it must be the seals around the roof mounted antenna. Still under warranty so I'll be taking it in soon.

Anyone else have this problem?

There's already a long thread on this issue regarding a leaking OnStar/XM antenna. You can use the "search" function to find it and read more.

Yes. Happened to me today. Will follow up with dealer.

First rain for me today since I bought my truck and I had the same drip. Can anyone who took into dealer let me know what they did? I'm assuming I can just put some sealant on it but I haven't pulled it off yet. Just curious if they did anything different for a fix. I have no warranty which is why I ask...
