Prep for new wheels

I just purchased an extra set of wheels, factory painted ones, for my Z28. What is the best thing to apply to the inside of the rim to aid in cleaning the future brake dust and road grime that will accumulate? Have thought about just waxing the inside but figure the heat generated will melt that protection in no time. Another thought was some type of cooking spray... Any ideas? Or is this just one of those jobs that's going to be a PITA regardless of what you do?

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
