faulty crank sensor symptoms?

hey everyone

does anyone know the symptoms of a faulty crank sensor, my 2007 gmc sierra 1500 new body style threw a P0335 crank sensor position circuit before Christmas. I cleared the code and it never came back. I went for a drive the other weekend and the truck was running fine with no issues. I went to start it the other day and it just turns over and wont fire. dumped in some gas line antifreeze and some new gas thinking I got some bad gas but still nothing. I read that if the sensor goes it wont get fuel or spark has anyone had any problems like this? any help would be awesome its driving me nuts lol

If you have a scan tool scan it again but just guessing I would say if it gave you that warning before that is probably it.

If it won't start hook up your scanner and go to Live Data. Select RPMs. Now while cranking do you have any RPMs reference? If you don't then the sensor could be bad. But then you will have to check your harness connector at the sensor and harness to see if there is a problem with them to make sure they are not the problem.

Hey guys

so I scanned the truck again and its getting a U0109 lost communication with fuel pump control module. I checked the wiring and it all looks fine, im guessing I need to get a new module? has anyone ever had to do this yet? its pretty easy to get at but what a bad location for it.
