01 yukon security light

Please help......i had a battery go dead , put new one in and had loose connection. Tightened it up it arced and locked the truck, not security light is on, but the truck starts and runs, but i have no headlights or drl. The keyless entry also does not work or the interior lights. After reading stuff all over i was thinking bcm.....put a used tested one in tonight and everything is still the same. I have replaced relays, checked fuses. I also took the wires off passlock sensor on ignition switch and made sure they were clean.....still same.

Any and all suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated......thanks

I have also tried the 30 minute reset and the security light never shuts off and wont reset.

I have a buddy with a good scan tool I am taking up to him next weekend, was jsut seeing if anyone had anymore ideas. Thanks anyway

I think it needs to be a bcm scan tool

I'd check all and I mean all the fuses....the fuse box under the hood and the fuses inside the cab on the dash. Replace any blown and leave the battery disconnected for over night, if that doesn't work then take it to the dealer, have them scan the ECM and BCM!

I am not going to an autozone, if my buddys new scanner wont do it its going to dealer, and his is not a $99 special, I know better than that.

I have went through all the fuses/relays the other night also.

Thing is fixed, power wire to the bcm was junk, and it blew a fuse also.....which I had out, but did not test, the tech told me he thought it was fine also until he tested it.
