help replacing rear seal/plate gasket and pan gasket 5.3 engine

Hello everybody. Just created an account with this forum. What brings me here today is I have a leaking engine. It appears to be coming from the rear plate or rear seal. I have determined that I will need to remove transmission for this fix, and thats where im at now. Ive got the truck up on jack stands, and am preparing for the job. Just looking for tips/tricks, as well as just general instructions on how to do this job. Do I need a special tool to install new seal? Any other special tools needed or special precedures? Torque specs? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
