2.5 Rough Idle when cold

Anyone with the 2.5 have an issue when its idling, in park or drive and it feels a little rough and seems like it has a miss?

 

took it once and they said it was just the way emissions worked on it (yea thats a lie).

 

Started it today and was letting it idle and revd it up to about 1700 and its popping out the pipe. To the dealer tomorrow.

I would complain and if they give you the same answer go to a different dealer.and call GM Customer support

Sounds like a timing issue if backfireing

So the dealer said they couldn't reproduce. Went and sat in the truck with the head Forman and reproduced it. They said the data stream shows good and that they have had some issues with the smaller direct injected motors having this issue

 

They are going to open a TAC with GM and see if they can get ahold of another Colorado to compare with.
