2009 sierra denali nav disk probs

Hi I'm new here . I just bought a 2009 Sierra Denali . The nav disk was in the consol #25974486 but the radio won't recognize the disk when i insert it behind the screen . I am missing something here ?

My past 07 Ava & current 11 25 HD - both when the disc is removed - they someties struggle to re-read disc when inserted ... a few trys and it usually will read it - try again & keep your fingers crossed, when it reads it right then don't take it out ... (not sure why it does that)

I tried multiple times and the screen reads "this is not a map disk" Its a GM disk with the part # on it

Hoping someone didn't stick you with a broken nav disc with you purchase ... dealer should help you out

ask the dealer to SHOW YOU how it should go in ... maybe ask them to try a different disc (of theirs) to see if it's the disc or the head unit has the problem ...

Like I said both of mine are sensitive about reading the disc, but I never got the message you have
