Need Help, window does not want to go up when switch is immediatly pre

Just had the motor replaced last year, now when I make the window go down, it is very hesitant to go back up. Could this be the switch? How hard is it to replace if it is the switch?

Probably not the switch. Window regulators are a common issue with those trucks. I've done two on my '01 Burb. I bought them off eBay, like $40 or so.

Well, I just had the regulator replaced last year, and I hardly even drive the truck.

Ok, then maybe you got a bad regulator.

Switches either work or they don't. They don't "kinda" work. If the window moves, the switch works. If it doesn't move, the switch might be bad.

For what it's worth, that isn't always true. The driver's window switches "kinda" worked for the rear windows for a long time until I replaced the unit. I would have to push extra hard or push the switch harder into the housing to make the windows roll down. Finally got tired of it and replaced the switch.

Yes, but it either worked, or it didn't. It wouldn't cause the window to move slower. It either makes the window move, or it doesn't. It's not a rheostat.

I had the same thing with my power mirror adjustment button. You had to press it really hard to make the mirror move. But it didn't make the mirror move slowly.

The window moves up and down freely, but it seems like the window doesn't even respond to me hitting the switch, that is why I am thinking it is a bad switch now.

How hard is it to replace a switch?
