09 2500 manual seat upgrade

My father just purchased an 09 Chevy 2500 and it has manual seats. He would like to install power seats and I was wondering if the wires would be under the seat already that I could just purchase a power seat from a salvage yard and bolt it right in? Has anyone ever tried this?

My 2010 Sierra SL does not have the wires under the seat. Which trim level is his truck? I am certain that I could not even get power seats in the SL. The SL is a W/T with power windows and door locks (called Nevada Edition) and chrome trim around grille. Chevy trucks use a different designation for the trim levels, but the logic is the same.

The truck is an LT. There is a plug under the seat that has several wires coming in and only to going out to I believe the seat belt. I wasn't sure if the other wires would be for the seat.

My truck came with bench seat, and the centre seat was different to what the SLE got. SL seat has a fold down arm rest that does not have a lid, it just has a pocket and three cup holders for the 2 people that can fit in the front seat with arm rest down. The SLE centre seat has a storage area on top of arm rest under a lid, and the seat portion of the seat lists up to expose a storage area, that also has power port.

Reason for all that above is that I changed the centre seat in mine to the SLE one, and the power outlet supply wire was already in the harness and plug was under seat. Don't understand Chev trim levels on the trucks enough to know what the LT is.
