Vehicle exit headlight feature and on star

We just got a new truck and on star is not working, needs new modjual, no compass readout now on 8 inch screen or dic. When trial subscription ends after we do get this fixed, will we still have the compass either or both in the dic and 8 inch screen, we do have nav and don't plan on renewing on star. What features would we lose. I would hope not the compass?

 

Also, how can we adjust the headlights to turn off after we exit vehicle, we thought we changed it in settings, but lights go off and then on again after door closes? Even its a delay its long and we don't want headlights to stay on at all.

GPS and compass will work without onstar.

 

 

Exit setting is accessed with the radio controls.

Turn the vehicle to ON/RUN to

access the Settings menu, then

select SETTINGS from the Home

page on the infotainment system

display.

Exit Lighting

This allows the selection of how

long the exterior lamps stay on

when leaving the vehicle when it is

dark outside.

Select Off, 30 Seconds,

60 Seconds, or 120 Seconds.
