Seeking Specific Head Unit Adapter

I am looking to replace my 2015 2500HD W/T's 4.2" screen with a single-din HU that I've got on hand. I've located several kits online, but I am confused as to why I can't find one that does not have the cut-out's for the original, factory controls.

 

You can see, below the radio mounting point, there is still the two circles and single rectangle that are left intact. I frankly do not understand why they still exist, when one is looking to replace the head unit.

 

So, my question is if anyone knows of a kit that does not include these punch-out's for the existing controls?

When you replace the head unit the factory climate controls will snap into the new dash kit. That is why those holes are there.

When you get the screen off and out of the way this is what you will find. To make room for the new head unit you will need to cut quite a bit of plastic. I hAve replaced the factory screens with after markets in every factory configuration so far. The cd mech, onstar module, tuner, and amp if equipped are all separate pieces. All of them are behind the screen with the exception of the bose amp which would be on the back wall behind the seat.

 

Many people have been disappointed with the factory sound quality with and without bose so I have replaced many. Typically with a Kenwood unit with the Garmin nav. They're Nav is the best in my opinion.
