Wow i even missed it.

 

Got online (slow 75 mhz with a 14.4 connection) to check the status of my laptop.  It made it to tennessee yesterday morning.  I NEED IT BACK SO BAD!!!

I bought a Compaq a couple of years ago Ryan that overheated from the first day.  I bought the extended 2 year warranty.  When I took it back to CompUSA three days after I bought and they told me they had to send it off for repair.  Compaq wouldnt let them work on them in the origirnal manufacturers warranty period.  Took them 1 month to get it back to me.  Also found out that the problem was with literally ALL of the Compaqs and something they knew about but still sold them.  Never buy a Compaq again....hope yours gets back sooner....

Again, I find , myself agreeing with Newbie ( and it really scares me ) but I don't care much for Compaqs either. We use them at work, unfortunately, and they have been nothing but crap. Buggy as heck. I think we are going to Dell as the company standard, so that should be good. I've heard that the quality of Gateways have been crappy lately, which suprises me.
