colored bowtie

With everyone changing the color of their emblems, I was curious if anyone out there has changed the color of the emblem on the steering wheel? If so, how did you go about it? Thanks

I'm going to attempt it on my wife's '14 Malibu (practice before my truck haha) if I can get that cover off the airbag/steering wheel. My plan is to just use painter's tape around the emblem and newspaper over the rest of the cover. Same as most of us have done w/ the exterior emblems.

After changing my bowties this past friday, I got in my truck sunday that gold bowtie on the steering wheel stood out as soon as I sat down lol

Will do! After I posted that I found a video showing how to do it on a few model years older (Malibu). That cover is actually attached to the airbag unit and it all comes out as a little package. Should be easy. And hopefully the same on my truck.
