Roof Marker Lamps

Does anyone have these on their 1500HD C.C. - I wanted them & my dealer told me they are no longer available on the 1500HD's. The Chevy silverado brochure even shows the lamps on 1500 H.D.s'.....what gives?

Was at a dealer this morning and saw 3 new 1500 LT's (not HD) lined up on the lot with roof marker lamps. Looked goofy!

Same three trucks had other dealer-installed cowboy stuff on them, including 18" wheels and low profile tires.

Well that's just not true -- you can get QuadraSteer on a 1500HD and when you get QS you MUST get the cab clearance lights .....

If you want to tackle installing them yourself there are a few aftermarket places that make knock-offs for quite a bit cheaper than the factory ones.

Whats up with that.......how 18 inch wheels and low profile tires cowboy stuff......sounds Like Bling bling to me??????

My "Cowboy Caddy" is shod with 295/75 16's, a lighted Visor, A-pod gauges, 5th wheel hitch....... Bling Bling in Cowboy Country get nothing but tore up! Unless your a Rodeo Princess cruis'n main street.....

Rhinestone Cowboys, with torsion bars cranked so high that the low profile tires tilt and wear mainly on the outside edge, goofy lights on the roof, and Z71 stickers on the interior overhead console.

Cowboy stuff!

By the way -- GMBuyPower lists the roof marker lamps as available on a 1500HD. The option code is "U01" and it only costs $55.

I think marker lights look BAD-A. I wish I had them from the factory, but I didnt order my truck this time, I will order my next truck with them. I have never seen a cowboy with low profile tires.

Give me a break, jeez, maybe it's all stuff people just happen to like. That's a crazy idea., huh?

Cowboys need XM radio and On Star too. Those look as goofy to some too.

I am thinking, I like those goofy lights on the roof. If you travel to the Northeast (don't call them boys cowboys) you will find a bunch of others that like those goofy lights too.
