Fuel rail removal - GMT900 5.3L

I've been having a stumble at startup on the first cold start of the morning. I'm trying to test for everything I can think of because I'm sure it's a fuel problem (no vacuum leaks and truck starts right up the first crank with no hesitation).

This morning, KeyOn/EngineOff was 60 PSI. Today when I got home from work I checked pressure again and it was between 50-54 psi (I believe it's supposed to be 42-45psi). It dropped 3-4 psi in about 1 min and dropped 30 psi in 15 minutes.

I want to take the fuel rail off and leave the injectors hooked up and prime the fuel pump and then turn it off to see if they leak. Can I just remove the 4 bolts that hold the fuel rail down and then pull it out as a unit?

When installing it back in I was going to put a little engine oil on the o-rings and reinstall. Anything else I need to do or look out for?

I just need to be able to lift them up enough to check for leaking. Is there enough play in the rubber lines?

**After the first start for the rest of the day it starts fine. It also runs find with no hesitation, codes, etc.
