I have seen this done on Jeeps. I am also curious as I want to get rid of the chrome on my truck as well and have thought about doing the same thing with the bumpers/grill. My concerns are fading and how it will do with insect collisions/cleanability. Would love to hear feedback from someone who has done this.

I line-x'd my plastic valence, fog surrounds, and rear bumper plastic in summit white. I like it, however I don't think the whole bumper would look good, even though I considered it. I would wrap the chrome.

you cant buy line x in a can could u?

and i feel like a wrap might cost alot no?

You can get the Rust-Oleum bed liner in a can. It's what I did with my fender flares are bug guard. It's been about 5 months and to be honest, it's starting to show it's wear. Even with 7 coats. I'm going to re do it with actual Line-X after I get done with my upcoming mods.

Raptor Liner for the win! I bedlined my bed and grille and did my whole Xterra in it. Plan to do it on my bumpers and may color match it. Here are some pics:

Did you use the version with the slight tint? Also, did you do it yourself?

Im unsure what you mean by slight tint?

Theres two versions black and tintable which you can use to color match and yes I did everything myself.

Sorry, that's what I meant-- your grille looks somewhat shiny. Very nice! Jealous.
