help finding Crimped Wires

Hi all,

i'm wanting to add a pre crimped wire to this connector shown in the picture. The connector ultimately connects to P/N 15770997-01, also shown. This wiring junction/connector is in between the emergency brake and the brake peddle. I would love to find a pre-crimped wire to plug into this connector. I tried calling up my local dealership and just said 15770997-01 was no longer available, which i understand that. I don't need the box, or even the connector, just a crimped wire. But still no help from them on that.

Also the Connector states Delphi PA66 but that didn't help me with my online search too much.

I have to imagine GM uses standard crimped wires and sizes for a verity of their connectors amongst all their vehicles. I just don't seem to know the right terminology to find online.

it looks like this part was used on all silverados, sierras, tahoe etc from 99-02. I'm guessing i might have to rip one out of a vehicle from a junk yard if I can't find.

thanks,

if all you need is a wire with the terminal crimped you could pull one out from the junk yard. how long and what gauge wire do you need?

If that is the up fitter switch. You can actually get the terminals through DORMAN and just crimp it onto a wire and slide it onto the terminal you want to use. I just did this to install my plow on my truck. I just used a piece of heatshrink and slid it over the terminal to reduce the risk of arcing.
