My 2002 clunked, my 2003 and 2007 work truck silvy's clunked and my 2014 clunks as well but not as bad as my previous trucks. It seems to me it is normal operating procedure for GM trucks.

Mine clunks when going from D to R. It has the sound and feel of driveline slop so I haven't been particularly concerned.

Machine shops always told us the clunk was cheap factory u joints years ago in the half tons. Of course they wanted to sell us theirs that had a grease zerk. Though most do not want to mess with greasing things anymore.

Miy 2014 Sierra all terrain has clunk noise since it had 5000 miles on it. I've had it into the dealer 4 times it does it selecting gears while in park and shifting gears while driving. Truck now has 11,000 miles on it and it sounds worse. Dealer says this is normal. This is not normal. My company truck is exactly the same truck except a Chevy same wheel base motor trans gear ratio. That truck is quiet as can be. I really couldn't be more disappointed in my truck or how gm is taking care of this. Has anyone had any luck?

My 07 classic did. My 14 not so much. Every once in a while when I'm on a hill. Just figured it was normal.
