Looking for FLOOR MAT options in my '02 Tahoe

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I've got an '02 Tahoe with the light two-tone interior, and I've grown very tired of looking at my super-dirty grayish factory floor mats.  But I'm also not sure that I'm totally sold on any of the aftermarket mats I've seen so far.

I have Husky Liners in my '97 Wrangler, and they're amazing -- but that's a different vehicle from the Tahoe.  My Tahoe feels much more "upscale" to me, and I don't know that I think the Husky Liners are appropriate for it (I have a Denali dash trim on the truck, Escalade gauge cluster, etc., and the interior just isn't that "rugged" inside).  I really like how well the Husky Liners work, though (diamond plate just may not cut it).

What are you guys using in your trucks?  Which mats are tough, hold up well, stay looking good, and have matching REAR mats available?  (A list of names and/or websites would be great.)  Also, anyone familiar with the interior colors I have go with BLACK mats instead of dealing with the dirt-showing gray ones?  I'm considering that, too.

Thanks, folks!  I appreciate your input, as always.

huskys

they are tough.  They work well especially with mud, water, snow etc

They have some really nice NOS ones at Auto-Zone :flag:

Or you could opt for the ones with Scooby-Doo on them

All kidding aside. Just go to the local 4 wheel parts wholesalers, they usually have several different types of mats, from big ugly ones, to little useless ones. You can even get the matching liner for the rear storage area.

I got some for my 92 pavement pounder there about 4 years ago. They have held up very well, and have kept the carpet clean. (I have the light grey interior)

I have the carpeted "CatchAll" mats in my truck.  The carpet is the same quality as the OEM carpet, and the color match is almost perfect.

My are the extreme catch alls. Not the carpet ones. They look much better than the huskys to me because they dont have the diamond tread.  They are made by nifty products, cost the same everywhere. Got mine from cabelas. :thumb:

Another vote for the Catch-All's.  Factory colour match was (is) perfect and they are yea durable.  Stay put, too...

Stylin Concepts has them but they are prolly not the cheapest.   :thumb:  :thumb:

Same here, They match really well and are holding up well after 17 months of use. :thumb:

These Catch-All's sound like the ticket!  Thanks!

Now, which do you guys prefer?  The standard ones, or the Extreme ones?  Also, which color would best match my interior?  (My rugs are kind of a silver gray color (with some gold in there).)

Thanks again!

I got the extreme catch-alls with the blue trim to match the exterior of my truck.  My interior is pewter in color, but the black matts look good once in place.  I had the lighter factory GM matts but they shure show the grime easily    Pick a color you like and roll with it. :chevy:

I got the standard Catch All mats from Cabelas for $125 for the front and Rear of my truck.  They have Front, Rear and Cargo for SUV's for $220.  The colors match perfect and they clean up real nice :thumb:  I think these were the cheapest prices around when I was looking a while back.  They might be cheaper somewhere else by now though.
