Radiator problems

Ordered new radiator for my 97 K1500 5.7 Then found that the transmission cooling line connectors are smaller on the new radiator. Where can I find adapters to fix this, and why are they different?

The fittings are smaller because the cooler inside the radiator has smaller diameter tubes. That may cause issues with the transmission, it will reduce flow through the cooler.

Easiest way to adapt it if you don't want to get the correct rad is to get fittings from just about any auto parts store. You could also get fittings that fit the rad with short piece of line and connect the original line to the new line with oil resistant hose from the same auto parts store,
