I bought a 6 pack the other day for my neighbor as a joke.

The reason that the fad wont last long.....It tastes like .

Now, if I could just find some "Pearl" beer...In the short bottles....

"Goose beer" I believe that is what it is called.

Not true, I'm an indie (student) filmmaker and nobody I know likes it. We all think it tastes like sh!t. Bud Light is our preference when it comes to a cheap, domestic beer.

I didn't think Bud Light was that expensive? All I know if that I can get a pony keg of the stuff for $30. That's 80, 12 oz. beers. One of those will normally last me a few hours.

And most of the micro-brews I have tasted taste like a$$.

back in '75/'76 when I first went into the USMC, a case of PBR was about $5.00. When we wanted 'cheap beer,' (like on those couple of days just before payday), we bought "Red White and Blue" for about $4 and change for a case.

Is everyone forgetting about the BEAST or Natty Light....those were the cheap beers when I was in college. 10.00 a case for beast, everyone in a while I'll still buy a 12 pack, just to remember the good time...... HA

I puked many a nights on Natty Bo.

My favorite was while I was at U of MD. I would buy a Grolsch with the fancy flip top and guzzle it. Then I would spent the rest of the night drinking a $2 case of Texas Pride.

Back in the day we used to call PBR "Freedom". Toward the end of the week when cash was short we could get a case for like $6. Course once we got paid we wouldn't think of drinkin PBR. Almost as bad as Schlitz!!!

Anyone remember Olympia? "It's in the water". HA Good stuff. Definatly Natty Ice. Best bang for the buck. The only thing good for Funneling other than Good Ole Crazy Horse 40 oz.

I just have to put in my 2 cents. I am a Canadian who loves beer and all I have to say is American beer is like making love in a canoe.... Its f'''ing close to water!!!

How can you guys drink that stuff. I go down to Buffalo or Detroit all the time to watch football and the only thing I am doing is looking for the bathroom.

Come up here sometime and I'll feed you great beer!!
