Yet another tire thread

Looking to upgrade my tires to Cooper ATW's. I have the OE All Terrain 18" rims, and am thinking of putting on the Coopers in an LT 275/70's on them. Didn't see a picture in the 100+ pages of the tire thread of that exact set up, but am assuming will not have rubbing issues? No lift, no level kit at this point. I expect the speedometer will be off by a bit, and some hit on mileage, etc. Any other gotchas to be aware of? They also come in a 275/65 which is more stock like, and if I am likely to run into issues, this would be the alternative.

 

The ride is an SLT with the max tow package, 6.2.

I don't know what brand of tire but a friend of mine runs a 275/70R18 with no issues without a lift or level on his 2014 Sierra.

That's reassuring, thanks. I expect as much based on the long tire and wheel thread... He's running stock rims, no spacers, etc?

No rubbing. Speedo was fixed with a Hypertech Max Energy 2.0

Nice.

 

I ended up going with the LT275/65 option... no rub as expected, and the ride feels firmer, but in a good way. Truck felt more like it was wallowing with the P-rated tires. Thanks all.
