Husky contour x-act question

I know there are several threads about these mats but haven't found much on this particular rear mat. Most things I've read talk about using the front x-act with the rear full coverage weatherbeater or weathertech. I just recently saw that husky now makes a rear full coverage in the x-act line. This is the one I'm speaking of....2ND SEAT FLOOR LINER (FULL COVERAGE)

Full Coverage 2nd seat liner.

ITEM# 53901.http://www.amazon.com/Husky-53901-Contour-Liner-Coverage/dp/B011LLPB5A

My question is, will this work with the OEM underseat storage?? It states that it will work with the husky gear box....but not sure how different the OEM is to the husky box?? Just wanted to co firm with someone who may know or have had experience with this particular setup before I order. Thanks y'all.

yes - it will work with the OEM underseat storage. That said, I opted to only get the shorter one because it would have been a little bit of a pain to remove the mats every time you want to vacuum the carpet. With the Husky underseat storage - it is held in place by straps. The OEM unit (which I also have) is held in place by bolts. And though the full length Husky liner fits fine underneath of it, it would not be easy to remove and replace each time without unbolting the rear seat storage. Just my .02.

Thanks, toro. Despite the extra difficulty in removing the mats when needed I feel like the full coverage is best for me. I think the full coverage is what I need because of my dogs. I plan to lift the rear seat and remove the storage when I take them anywhere with me to keep them from romping all over the seats. Maybe there is a better option out there, I don't know. I've seen a few posts about hammocks and such for pets?? I don't mind them just hopping up in my wrangler but really would hate for them to mess something up in the new truck.

Completely understand. Have the same concern/issue with my mastiff. I haven't quite gotten up the courage to let her in yet....

Just as a follow up question. The shorter floor liner says that it works well with the husky gear box. I assume the contours are made to work well together. How does it look with the OEM box?

I am also in the hunt for similar solution as I travel with a my working dog alot. I just got the xact contours for the front seats becuase i have them in my Jeep and love them way more than the weather techs. Would you mind snapping some pics of the full floor liner once you lay it down? I keep a 2x3' dog crate in the back and need something to keep the floor somewhat clean underneath. Thinking about making a custom crate for the back seat area but the standard one i have fits in there for now.
